SSK was founded with the simple idea to blend art and technology, creating innovative work through creative collaborations that inspire and uplift.
Early years:
Siddhartha Kunti (SK) was born into a family of artists. His grandfather was an Austrian wood sculptor who restored centuries old relics in churches and crafted stunning private commissions. Thus from a young age SK spent entire summers modelling in clay, chiseling wood, crafting objects … and laying the foundation for his artistic practice. The latter was further refined by the professions of his two uncles who exposed him to industrial design and violin making.

Artistic & professional development:
3D & Design: In 2011 SK joined the 3D printing industry where he assisted leading brands (Nike, McLaren, Bjarke Ingels group...) and pioneering creatives (Pierre Leclerc (Citroën), Iris Van Herpen...) to develop and design innovative concepts using 3D printing and he was part of the team that brought 3D printing to the V&A under guidance of Murray Moss. Working alongside such visionaries further shaped SK's artistic DNA. A chance encounter with the legendary car and industrial designer, Frank Stephenson, exposed SK to the concept of biomimicry (design based on biology). Since then SK has always looked to nature as the ultimate source of beauty and inspiration.
Digitization of scent/flavour: In 2018 SK was spearheading a team to develop an AI solution for surgery improvement when he thought of applying the power of technology to one of his personal passions: food and beverages. He wanted to understand where flavour comes from so he rented a GC-MS machine (Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry), taught himself how to operate it and his exploration of scent digitisation started.
In 2024, SK decided to become a full time artist and his current and future work is built on five pillars: 1) innovating and creating novel concepts 2) creating work where technology meets craftsmanship 3) showcasing nature's beauty or art with a conservation focus 4) collaborating with experts in their given field 5) giving back to artist & impact communities via an impact pledge (up to 30% of proceeds from art sales will be invested back in the aforementioned communities)
His first digital work, Origins molecular symphony, is the culmination of all elements from his professional & artistic career: 3D modelling and design, the digitization of scent, and traditional craftsmanship. This pioneering artwork blends art and technology, showcasing both artistic and scientific innovation.
